高职应用化工专业建设应坚持立足服务地方经济建设的原则。专业建设的核心工作是课程设计,在这一核心工作上更要坚持这一原则。以应用化工专业课程设计为例,首先在课程设计的指导思想上,根据地方经济建设所需煤化工类技能型人才的素质和职业能力培养要求,采用模块式设计课程体系与结构;其中专业课程体系由职业基本理论素质课程模块、职业技能课程模块、特色拓展课程模块构成。
