The mechanism of naphtha catalytic cracking to light olefins was expounds in the paper. The naphtha catalytic cracking catalysts including metal oxide catalyst system, zeolite catalyst, composite catalysts and scientific research of naphtha catalytic cracking at home and abroad in recent years were reviewed. Comparing with naphtha catalytic cracking and steam cracking process routes, the research shows that naphtha catalytic cracking has advanced, and the research and development of this field has important significance.
