考察由苯甲酸与正丁醇进行酯化的反应用于有机实验教学案例的可行性,探讨了催化剂用量、原料配比和反应时间对产品收率的影响,同时对工艺条件的重现性和催化剂的反复使用性能进行考察,结果表明,该实验方案时间短且操作简单,满足有机化学实验教学的要求,完全可用于代替苯甲酸乙酯的制备实验。

This paper describes a preparation experiment of n-butyl benzoate from benzoic acid and n-butanol, and its feasibility using in organic teaching experiment. The effect of factors on the reaction was examined and the optimized condition was established. The experimental reproducibility of process conditions and the reutilization of catalysis involved were tested. Optimum conditions are as follows: n(n-butanol):n(benzoic acid)=1.5-2:1; the optimal dosages of strong-acid-type cation-exchange-resin of styrene, 3g; the reaction time, 60 min; and its average yield, over 80%. This preparation experiment meets the organic teaching experiment and can completely replace the preparation experiment of ethyl benzoate because its shorter reaction time and easy operation.
