The paper mainly introduces the importance,constituent elements and its classification,drawing principle,drawing techniques and some problems of draft during creating the solid part models based on SolidWorks. Datum plane choice and drawing method of draft,adding geometrical relationship constraint and dimensional constraint in draft are described to fit the mechanical drawing standard such as the view projection,size marking and others of engineering drawings from the solid parts model.
