作为现代零售业的一个极其重要的模式——超级市场，对其空间布局的研究已成为普遍关注的热点．文章综述了国内外关于超级市场空间布局的研究进展．一般来讲，国外超级市场的研究比国内的较为先进，如在节约能源、环境保护和网上购物等方面．国内研究较多关注的是超级市场的规模结构、空间布局、阶段演进等问题．因此，超级市场的发展及其布局的理论及实证等方面均有待创新和突破．

The supermarket-as an extremely important type of modem retailing, its layout in the urban space is highly concerned by the universal. This article has summarized the research on the layout of the supermarket in the urban space at home and abroad, the foreign research about supermaket is more ＂postmodem＂ than our country. For example, much of their research are about saving the energy,protecting the environment, the effect of online shopping on supermarket and so on. Domestic research is more focused on the scale and the structure of the supermarket, the location of the supermarket and the development of the supermarket. The theory and the empirical research are expected to have innovative breakthrough.
