利用二维数值计算,对大气的切变对流进行了研究.流场包括一个平流层顶的射流,其下有一个热不稳定层.用不同的参数代表不同的切变和温度不稳定性,对流场进行模拟,并和在没有风切变下的情况比较.发现对流顶部的射流会形成一种障碍,把穿透阻挡,恰如"切变障碍"理论所描述的一样;此外,当切变加强,所产生的重力波的振幅也随之增大.

Shear-convective turbulence was studied using 2D numerical simulation. Flow configuration consists of a modeled jet capping a thermally unstable layer. Different values of shear and thermal instability were used and the simulated results were compared with the reference situations where only the convective layer was present. With capping jet, a mechanical barrier in a way similar to the shear-sheltering effect was formed blocking the convective penetration. However, more intensive gravity waves was generated as the shear increases.
