The causes involved in power decrease and early wear of natural gas vehicle are described in this paper. The measures to increase power of natural gas vehicle, i.e. increasing the air charge coefficient of engine, increasing accordingly the engine compression ratio, using a special engine lubrication oil of natural gas vehicle are described as well. It is shown by test that using a special engine lubrication oil has its significant effect to increase engine power and prevent engine from early wearing.
