The upgrading of industries and the development of knowledge economy depend on an industry-con-sulting industry in a large part. Consulting industry is an important industry in the 21st century. This article mainly dis-cusses the development history of the consulting industry in China and analyzes the difference of consulting industries be-tween China and developed countries. Finally, it brings forward some countermeasures for the development of the consult-ing industry in China.
