以丙烯酰胺(AM)、苯乙烯(ST)、二甲基二烯丙基氯化铵(DADMAC)为原料,通过无皂乳液聚合法合成了高固含量的AM-ST-DADMAC三元共聚物.研究了单体总质量分数和三种单体质量配比对转化率和AM-ST-DADMAC共聚物无皂乳液动力粘度的影响.结果表明,DADMAC的配比是影响AM-ST-DADMAC共聚物乳液固含量的主要因素.较佳的工艺条件为m(AM) : m(ST) : m(DADMAC)=5 : 2 : 3,单体总质量分数为63%,引发剂用量为单体总质量的0.5%,反应温度75 ℃,反应时间2 h.在该反应条件下,目标聚合物的产率可达89.9%,DADMAC的转化率为71.5%,乳胶粒表面电荷量是1.405 mmol/g,乳液的动力粘度是76 mPa·s.

The terpolymer AM-ST-DADMAC was synthesized by soap-free emulsion copolymerization with acrylamide(AM),styrene(ST) and diallyldimethylammonium chloride(DADMAC).The effect of the total mass fraction of monomer and three kinds of monomer ratio on the conversion rate and the dynamic viscosity of the soap-free emulsion of terpolymer AM-ST-DADMAC were discussed.The experimental results indicate that the mass ratio of DADMAC is the main factor of the influence on the solid content of the terpolymer emulsion. Better condition for the polymerization is m(AM) : m(ST) : m(DADMAC)=5 : 2 : 3,the total mass fraction of monomer is 63%,dosage of initiator is 0.5% to the total mass of monomer,the reaction temperature is 75 ℃ and the reaction time is 2 h.Under the above reaction conditions,the yield of the target copolymer is up to 89.9%,the conversion of DADMAC is 71.5%,the surface charge (amount) of latex particle is 1.405 mmol/g,the dynamic viscosity of emulsion is 76 mPa·s.
