The circulating cooling water system was studied by systematic analysis method and optimization technique. The relationship between the water volume and quality in the system and the operation cost is analyzed. The mathematical model for cooling water system is established by technical economical method. The optimization of the system is determined by the best concentration multiple of circulating cooling water, which can make the design and operation management of the circulating cooling water system more scientific and rational.
