现代武器及其保障设备具有技术含量高、集成度高、结构复杂等特点,基层部队无法独立进行武器及保障设备的维修维护工作,严重限制了武器的自主保障能力;文中把IETM的特点与某导弹通用测试系统的需求相结合,介绍了导弹通用测试系统IETM的总体架构,关键技术,以交互方式向使用人员讲解导弹和设备的设计,使用、维护、维修信息,使基层部队具备独立的导弹测试维修保障能力,从而技术培训时间可减少43%,故障诊断效率提高35%,维修维护时间缩短25%～45%,维修维护成本降低了32%.
