基于有特殊阵列配置的单基地多输入多输出(MIMO)雷达,提出了一种用于多目标波迭方向(DOA)估计的虚拟阵列Toeplitz重构(VATR)算法。利用MIMO雷达发射信号的正交特性将阵列有效阵元数和孔径同时扩展,可估计更多的目标。研究表明:与发射分集平滑(TDS)和虚拟子阵平滑(VSS)算法相比,VATR算法有更强的阵元节省能力和更好的统计估计性能。仿真结果证明了VATR算法理论的正确性和有效性。

A novel algorithm which was called virtual array toeplitz restructured (VATR)was proposed for multi-target DOA estimation based on monostatic MIMO radar with special array collocation in this paper. The numbers of sensors and effective aperture size were expanded by exploiting the orthogonal property of the transmitting signals of MIMO radar which could estimate more targets. The research was showed that the VATR algorithm would deal with more targets with using of less arrays and better statistic estimation performance than transmission diversity smoothing (TDS) and virtual subarrays smoothing (VSS) algorithm. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed VATR method were verified by the simulation results.
