This article discusses the impervious features of the grout enriched vibrated concrete(GEVC),and presents a new thought in the anti-seepage structure design of the RCC gravity dam that the reinforced concrete facing is replaced by GEVC, which together with the two-grade aggregate RCC concrete, forms a new anti-seepage structure of the RCC gravity dam.
