Perilipin是一种脂滴相关蛋白,包被于脂肪细胞和甾体生成细胞的脂滴表面.因其独特的组织分布和分子结构,Perilipin具有双向调控脂肪分解的功能.目前许多研究表明,Perilipin在肥胖和胰岛素抵抗中占有重要作用.Perilipin基因的缺失和基因多态性与肥胖、胰岛素抵抗的发生、发展及易感性密切相关.其可能成为治疗这些相关疾病的新靶点.

Perilipin is a lipid droplets-associated protein associating with the lipid droplets in adipocytes and steroidogenic cells.Because of its unique tissue distribution and molecular structure,Perilipin has a dual role in lipolysis regulation.Many studies have explored the significant association of Perilipin with obesity and insulin resistance.Furthermore,Perilipin ablation and its single nucleotide polymorphisms are significantly related to the development and susceptibility of obesity,insulin resistance.Perilipin may be a new useful target in treatment of these diseases.
