Several treatment processes (such as electrolytic regeneration and oxidative regeneration methods) for reuse of spent copper-etching solution from the production of printed circuit board and the materials used (including electrodes and extracting agents) were introduced. Some methods for recovering recourses from spent copper-etching solution, such as using spent alkaline ammonia etching solution to prepare blue vitriol or copper(I) chloride, were described.
