In this paper, the process flow of three-dimensional modeling, based on aerial photography 3D acquisition data, is introduced, and the new method of acquiring building height, based on largescale 3D DLG, is studied. According to the process flow above,large-area construction of 3D urban model is solved properly, and the 3 D model has high precision, satisfing the precision requeirement of 3D model totally.
