Taking the specific engineering project as an example, this thesis discusses the design of industrial workshop with solid-web steel beam and single layer and concrete column, respectively describes matters needing attention in structural selection, seismic design, and single- row design, and points out similarities and differences in the design of single-layer workshop with solid-web steel beam and concrete column and portal steel frame, with a view to guide practice.
