Housing area is always a hot lopic that attracts much attention in real estate market and it is also the key task of real estate surveying and mapping. This paper analyzes some kinds of housing area problems which are quite concerned by house - buyers, elaborates the origin of all kinds of area differences, and presents some suggestions on how to avoid understanding mistakes, solve area differ- enees and reduce the dispute.
