In view of the actual situation of non computer major students, it is an effective teaching strategy to adopt "layering method, group instruction, interaction". The paper conducts a detailed discussion on the definition of the method, necessity and principle of application as well as specific measures from the perspective of theory and practice. The practice shows that this method can realize individualized instruction and man-oriented teaching theory and promote the initiative and originality of students of different levels, thus realize the teaching target of individual progress, overall improvement and harmonious development.
