The cultivation of innovative ability is the core of graduate education. This paper investigates the cultivation of biological graduates＂ innovative ability from aspects such as creative thinking, training mode, teaching method and scientific research training. It is proposed that the engineering colleges should cultivate innovation-oriented biological graduates through applying diversified scientific teaching system.
