董伸舒的“三纲五常”思想作为中国封建社会道德体系的基本核心，对中国传统思想文化产生了深刻影响，具有极高的文化价值。“三纲五常”思想的正向文化功能体现在文化整合功能、文化导向功能和文化传播功能三个方面；负向文化功能体现在文化滞后和反文化两个方面。
董伸舒的“三綱五常”思想作為中國封建社會道德體繫的基本覈心，對中國傳統思想文化產生瞭深刻影響，具有極高的文化價值。“三綱五常”思想的正嚮文化功能體現在文化整閤功能、文化導嚮功能和文化傳播功能三箇方麵；負嚮文化功能體現在文化滯後和反文化兩箇方麵。
동신서적“삼강오상”사상작위중국봉건사회도덕체계적기본핵심，대중국전통사상문화산생료심각영향，구유겁고적문화개치。“삼강오상”사상적정향문화공능체현재문화정합공능、문화도향공능화문화전파공능삼개방면；부향문화공능체현재문화체후화반문화량개방면。
Dong Zhong-xu＇s idea of ＂Three cardinal guides （ruler guides subject, father guides son and husband guides wife） and Five constant virtues （ benevolence, righteonsness, propriety, wisdom and fidelity） was used as the cardinal core of the feudual society in China. It produced deep influence in Chinese traditional ideological culture. It is of the high value of culture. The positive cultural function of the three cardinal guides and five constant virtures plays three functions of the cultural integration, the cultural guidance and the cultural broadcasting and its negative function shows the two asoects of the cultural detention and anti-culture.
