The preparation technology of bentone grease is described.Different types of antioxidants,extreme pressure anti-wear agent,rust inhibitor and preservatives were added into the base grease.By adopting ＂self-established＂ oxidation stability method to examine the properties of antioxidants,using four-ball testing machine which can test their P B and P D to observe the extreme-pressure anti-wear property,and employing GB/T 5018 and GB/T 7326 to investigate the anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties,the proper additives were selected to meet the requirements of bentone grease.
