中国龙虾仅在夜间主动摄食，摄食节律明显，日落后和午夜后各有一摄食高峰，午夜前后的摄食量分别占日摄食总量的54.77% 和45.23%。中国龙虾属杂食性，偏好动物性饵料；投喂牡蛎时获最高摄食率6.33%。有食壳现象，但很少相互残食。中国龙虾摄食强度受饵料种类、温度、盐度及投饵方式等因子的影响。摄食的适温范围15～32 ℃。盐度32时摄食率高达2.66%。日皆投饵可获较高摄食率。

Feeding habits of Chinese Spiny lobster, Panulirus stimpsoni, were described in this paper. The lobster fed only in nighttime with two obvious peaks appeared in 1～2 hours after sunset and in midnight, which made its feeding rhythm clearly. The lobster fed 54.77% of its daily ration in the first half of the night, 45.23% in the latter half. The Chinese spiny lobster is an omnivore, having a preference for animal baits and highest food consumption rate of 6.33% when feeding on oyster. It was found the lobster ingested its shell occasionally and perform mutual annihilation scarcely. The feeding intensity was impressionable to food types, water temperatures, salinities, and feeding intervals. Seemly foraging temperature was 15～32(C. Consumption rate was as high as 2.66% when salinity was 32, and was higher when fed every day than when be done in other feeding intervals.
