1903年建校的韩师是我国第一批、广东省第一所专门培养师资的学校。百年韩师办学传统与经验可以高度概括为四个方面，即：以校训“勤教力学，为人师表”为贯穿始终的办学理念；传承潮汕文化教育的地方特色；与时俱进的科类与专业设置；侨资、社会各界、海外校友的捐资助学。
1903年建校的韓師是我國第一批、廣東省第一所專門培養師資的學校。百年韓師辦學傳統與經驗可以高度概括為四箇方麵，即：以校訓“勤教力學，為人師錶”為貫穿始終的辦學理唸；傳承潮汕文化教育的地方特色；與時俱進的科類與專業設置；僑資、社會各界、海外校友的捐資助學。
1903년건교적한사시아국제일비、광동성제일소전문배양사자적학교。백년한사판학전통여경험가이고도개괄위사개방면，즉：이교훈“근교역학，위인사표”위관천시종적판학이념；전승조산문화교육적지방특색；여시구진적과류여전업설치；교자、사회각계、해외교우적연자조학。
Hanshan Normal University(HSNU) was founded in 1903, which was then the first school to train teachers in Guangdong and one of the earliest normal school in the country.It’s school-running tradition and experience can be summarized in four aspects:the concept of school-running expressed in the motto"Be diligent in teaching and industrious in learning. Be a teacher of exemplary virtue";the inheritance of cultural education with Chaoshan features the subjects and curriculum setting; the funds to assist students and dona-tions for education from overseas alumnus and from people of all walks ot life in the society.
