基于事故后果分析法,对1个乙氧基化催化精馏塔(以环氧乙烷和甲醇为原料合成乙二醇单甲醚)紧急排空后因环氧乙烷扩散引起的危险性进行了定量分析.首先,通过模拟计算取得紧急排空时塔的操作条件及塔内未转化环氧乙烷的量等数据;其次,利用安全评价准则判定了紧急排空时环氧乙烷的排放类型和扩散类型;再次,应用高斯烟羽扩散模型,计算了环氧乙烷非重气云扩散的危险距离.研究表明,在不利的环境条件下,紧急排空的突发火(或爆炸)与中毒危险下风向最大距离可达35.2 m和97.4 m.本研究提供的事故后果信息将为塔的安全评价及应急预案制定提供理论依据.

Based on the accidental-consequence analysis,the risks of an ethoxylation catalytic distillation(CD) column in which the production of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether from ethylene oxide(EO) and methanol were assessed due to the dispersion of EO on condition of emergency discharge.Firstly,the operation parameters of column and the total mass of unconverted EO on the conditions of emergency discharge were obtained by means of simulation.Secondly,the discharge patterns and the dispersion behavior of EO vapor were identified according to the security evaluation criteria.Afterwards,the safety distances of EO passive dispersion behavior were predicted and calculated by means of gaussian plume model.The results showed that the maximum safety distances for flash fire or explosion and toxic effect in the unfavorable environment condition could reach 35.2 and 97.4 meter,respectively.The results obtained in this work will provide the basic information for the assessment of accidental-consequence safety and further for the establishment of emergency response plans of the CD column.
