针对Ad hoc网络中信源节点增加时ODMRP按需组播路由协议会产生大量的控制开销,提出了一种优化的基于可变核心算法的组播路由协议VCMP(variable core multicast route protocol).该协议的核心不必事先固定,而是能根据当前的网络拓扑和组成员关系进行变化,利用核心的帮助,能解决ODMRP环境中所会出现的控制开销问题,使整个网络中的控制包大大的减少.仿真结果表明VCMP确实有更好的性能.

When the source node increase in Ad hoc network,on-demand multicast routing protocol (ODMRP) will have a lot of control overhead.An optimization algorithm of multicast routing protocol based on the variable core is proposed.It is called VCMRP (variable core multicast routing protocol).In VCMP,a core is not well-known and it variable to the current network topology and group membership,VCMP uses the help of core nodes to reduce the control packets overhead which is serious in the ODMRP environment.Simulation results show that VCMP has better performance.
