采用溶液共混方法制备了聚甲基乙撑碳酸酯(PPC)/淀粉复合材料,并对其形貌、机械性能和热性能进行了表征.复合材料的模量随淀粉含量的增加而提高,拉伸强度在淀粉含量小于35%时有明显提高.复合材料的玻璃化转变温度和5%失重温度分别比纯PPC提高10℃和30℃左右.TEM表明复合材料中PPC基体与淀粉有较好的界面相互作用.GPC表明复合材料中PPC的分子量由于淀粉的架桥作用而显著提高.

Completely biodegradable composites of poly (propylene carbonate) (PPC) reinforced with unmodified corn starch were prepared by solution casting method. The effects of reinforcement on the morphology, static and dynamic mechanical properties, as well as thermal properties of PPC/starch composites were investigated. Compared with pure PPC resin, the introduction of starch improved the stiffness of the composites significantly, and enhanced the tensile strength to some extent when the starch content was less than 35% (wB). Scanning electron microscopic (SEM) examination revealed the good intedacial adhesion between the fillers and PPC matrix. Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) results showed that the molecular weights of PPC matrices in composite increased compared with that of pure PPC. Moreover, experimental results indicated that the starch addition leaded to a significant improvement in the ther-mal stability of the composites.
