A case of linear focal elastosis (LFE) is reported. A 4-year-old boy presented with an unusual asymptomatic, linear lesion on the back of his left thigh. The lesion was found by his mother as soon as he was born, and then became larger and more. Histological changes were widen spaces between collagen fibers, Verhoeff-van Gieson staining showed a large quantity of elastic fiber fragments, these features being consistent with elastosis in the dermis. And the literatures of LFE were reviewed, and its clinical, histopathological features were studied.
