The paper discusses and analyses the on-off pulse generation in prototype of Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) with energy snubber in which selective harmonic elimination (SHE) PWM method is used in details. A kind of control system is proposed, which is based on data moving between industrial control computer and single-chip computer by using common RAM. The problems on the electric-network frequency track and phases regulation are solved and a foundation for the manufacture of UPFC prototype is laid.
