Biodegradable polymers require resistance to outside influences during in use,but can be biodegraded under certain conditions after being disused.Therefore,the relevant measurements and evaluation methods for the biodegradability of such materials is a key component when characterizing their performances.This article introduced the degradation methods of the biodegradable materials in recent years,primarily through different environments for biodegrading the materials,including the compost environment,aquatic environment,inert solid media environment,etc.In this article,we compared theses studies,drew several conclusions and also gave some expectations on such research field.
