针对城市公交普遍存在行车安全和乘客乘车难问题,提出了一种基于GPS/3G技术的公交车远程监控系统设计方案。本方案采用ARM微处理器和嵌入式Linux操作系统,利用数字图像处理和GPS定位技术,实现了对公交车车内视频监控、行车状态统计管理、定位信息采集等功能,同时以3G无线通信为传输手段,实现监控终端与控制中心通信,提高公交运行安全及服务质量,使市民能更好地乘坐公交,享受生活。

In view of the widespread city bus driving safety and passenger bus trouble,a bus remote monitor and control system design based on 3 G/GPS technology is proposed. The scheme adopts ARM micro processor and embedded Linux operating system, using digital image processing and GPS technology, thus realizes function including the car video monitoring, driving statistical management, positioning information collection and so on. While using 3G wireless communication as transmission method, it realizes communication between monitoring terminal and the control center, and improves public transport safety and service quality, so that citizens can have a better time on bus, and enjoy their life.
