Various reversed structure systems including reversed micelles/microemulsions,reversed lyotropic liquid crystal and vesicle systems as well as vesicle systems with special structure formed by surfactants in non-aqueous solutions were introduced.Meanwhile,performance measurement and structure characterization for the corresponding ordered aggregates by various means were summarized.The important applications of these systems such as in preparation of nanoparticles,drug carriers and in extraction operation and purification of special fine materials were briefed.
