流域数字水系网络提取的精度，通常与所使用的数字高程图（DEM）的精度和集水面积阈值的大小有关。在给定的DEM图上，数字水系的精度基本上取决于集水面积阈值的设置。首先介绍了几种确定阈值大小的方法，然后应用其中的“河网密度”法来对河套灌区的排干沟的水系网络进行提取。结果表明，该方法能很好地应用于灌区水系网络的合理提取。
