Comparative test of four early-maturing chayote lines, which were screened by the simple test, were conducted. Their agronomic characters and yields were compared and analyzed. The results showed that YX-2 was fine with early maturation, highest in annual total yield and summer melon yield, and could be demonstrated and extended in intermediate altitude
