采用经尿道前列腺注射无水酒精治疗前列腺增生症(BPH)33例。28例随访6月，观察其前列腺症状(IPSS)评分、最大尿流率(MFR)、膀胱残余尿均有明显改善,经直肠B超检查前列腺体积明显缩小,有显著性差异(P＜0.01)。治疗可在局麻下进行，方法简便，安全，疗效显著，并发症少，恢复快，尤其适用于手术治疗耐受性差的患者，是一种新的前列腺增生症的治疗方法。
채용경뇨도전렬선주사무수주정치료전렬선증생증(BPH)33례。28례수방6월，관찰기전렬선증상(IPSS)평분、최대뇨류솔(MFR)、방광잔여뇨균유명현개선,경직장B초검사전렬선체적명현축소,유현저성차이(P＜0.01)。치료가재국마하진행，방법간편，안전，료효현저，병발증소，회복쾌，우기괄용우수술치료내수성차적환자，시일충신적전렬선증생증적치료방법。
To develop a safe, effective and simple method to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia. Transuretheral injected alcohol therapy was carried out in 33 cases of BPH from July 1996 to August 1997. 28 cases had been followed up for 6 months and significant improvement, both subjectively and objectively, were observed in decreased size of prostate by transrectal ultrasound scanning during 1, 3, 6 months respectively after transurethral injected absolute alcohol therapy. After 6 months, the size decreased from (55.3±12.5)mL to (25.3±7.9)mL(P＜0.01). MFR increased from (7.46±2.42)mL/s to (16.0±1.71)mL (P＜0.01). The result showed that the present procedure could be carried out under local anesthesia and was an alternative method for the treatment of BPH.
