The two types of ladle refining,namely LFV and LF-VD have four funtions of heating,degassing,argon-blowing and VOD. Oxygen content in bearing steels ingotting with LFV is below 9×10-6;oxygen,sulphur and titanium contents in bearing steels with LF-VD are respectively below 9×10-6,0.005% and 23×10-6.The minimum carbon content in stainless steels refined with LFV can reach 0.004% and the oxygen content in the ultra-pure and ultra-low carbon stainless steel of 00Cr25Ni22Mo2N refined with LFV can reach 31×10-6.
