Survivin is a new and structurally unique member of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein discovered in recent years,which is highly expressed specifically in most neoplasms.The regulation of survivin expression occurs mainly at transcription levels,and there are several transcription factors such as P53 and Sp1 involved in the regulation of survivin expression.Several signal transduction factors are involved in it else.Knowledge of the regulation mechanism of survivin expression is crucial for the targetting therapy of tumors.
