根据香蕉各叶龄期叶片、假茎、球茎等有关性状变化,将香蕉抽蕾前植株的生育进程按叶龄分成两个阶段,即叶龄余数大于10为营养生长阶段,叶龄余数10~0为果穗分化阶段.两个阶段可以进一步细分为:营养生长前期(叶龄余数≥20),营养生长中期(叶龄余数19~15),营养生长后期(叶龄余数14~11),花孕育期与花序分化期(叶龄余数10-7),花器各原基分化与发育期(叶龄余数6~1),孕蕾期(叶龄余数0).叶片红褐斑的出现与消失、吸芽的发生、球茎膨大与一定的叶龄同伸或同步:香蕉果穗分化与密层叶的出现、叶柄摺扇形排列、叶顶端皱褶的出现等具有一定的同伸性或同步性.

In accordance with the changes of characteristics of leaf,pseudostem and bulb of banana at different leaf age periods,the growth stages of banana before pumping bud period could divided into two stages,the vegetative stage in which the remaining leaf number was more than 10,and the fruit bud differentiation period in which the remaining leaf number was between 10~0.The two stages could further divided into the following sub-stages:the early vegetative stage(remaining leaf number≥20),the middle vegetative stage(remmning leaf number 19~15),the end vegetative stage(remaining leaf number 14~11),flower differentiation stage(remaining leaf number 10~7),flower anlage differentiation and development stage(remaining leaf number 6-1)and pregnant bud stage(remaining leaf number 0).The emerging and disappear of brown spots on leafs,the occurrence of lateral bud and the enlarging of bulbs were simultaneous with certain leaf ages,banana bud differentiation had certain simultaneity with such characteristics as the extension of aerial stem,the occurrence of dense leaves and the occurrence of wrinkles on leaf tops.
