Course informatization is a kind of course reform to meet the needs of information society. Information society is characterized by information technology (IT) culture and people should know how to learn, work, live, and survive with others. It is argued that IT culture and human resources qualifications should be reflected in the course objectives, course content, course delivery, and course assessment. Course objectives should be dynamic, human-centered, and individualized while course content needs to be in line with contemporary course value orientations, flexible, non-objectivized, and individualized. It is of importance not only to integrate IT into course informatization but also to grasp the implications of IT for course informatization.
