Based on the monitoring data of non-stress meters in an ultra-high arch dam,the changing process of stress by means of the non-stress meters is discussed.The possible causes for this anomaly are analyzed.The stress of the concrete in the barrel of the non-stress meters is calculated.The influence of high stress on the measured values of the non-stress meters is preliminarily discussed.
