黔东南苗族传统吊脚楼的营造过程不是简单的建房过程，其中包含了当地独特的文化习俗、富有地方特色的建筑技术及建筑理念，是地方民俗文化、建筑文化的重要组成部分。随着农村的城市化选程的加快，砖木和砖混结构建筑及其现代化的建造方式对传统的苗族吊脚楼造成很大冲击，对其保护、发展与开发利用的研究是紧迫而必要的。通过对黔东南苗族传统吊脚楼营造技术、建筑材料以及建造过程中的地方习俗等方面的内容进行研究，力求传承苗族建筑文化，发扬传统营造技艺。

Construction Techniques of the pillar-supported house of the Miao in Southeast Guizhou are not a simple building process. There are many distinctive contents in it including local traditions, eonstruction skills and architectural concepts, which are important components of the local folk culture and architectural culture. With the urbanization in rural areas, construction techniques for brick-wood structure and modern buildings have great impact on the traditional pillar-supported house of the Miao. Therefore, it is necessary and urgent for the research of protection, development and utilization of local traditional buildings. Through study of construction techniques, building materials and local customs, this article expatiates on inheritance of architectural culture of the Miao and protection and development traditions.
