This paper describes the feasibility of the RTK with the total station for digital mapping,the composition of system and the working principle,conducting a series of discussions about the working procedure of the real-time kinematics with total station at digital mapping application.Pointing Out that the real-time kinematics with total station at digital mapping application is a high-speed and highly efficient new method.
