In order to satisfy the need of sustainable development,it is necessary to give an exploring discussion of the effects of three logging methods on ecology.The development status of skidding is introduced.The mechanical structure of tractor skidder is designed and the intensity of the reducer shell is optimized by using ANSYS based on the finite element method.The practical application verifies that the theoretical analysis can satisfy the practical requirements.Experimental data shows that the efficiency of tractor skidder is higher than that of J-50 skidder.
