The mechanical and circuit department of self-designed subminiature capacitor stored energy spot welding machine was introduced. The equipment was used for the welding of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel. According to the analysis of nucleation size and joint microstructure, the welding machine and performance is stable, the welding quality of the welding joint is good when the voltage is 110 V and the pressure is about 15 N.
