从广东省部分地区猪场采集疑似猪链球菌病病猪的扁桃体棉拭病料202份，用PCR方法检测棉拭样本培养物中猪链球菌（Streptococcussuis）及其主要致病血清型（1、2、7和9型）．检出阳性样品147份，检出率为72．8％．其中检出S．suis血清2型21份，检出率为12．9％；检出血清9型6份，检出率为3．0％；未检出血清7型和1型．此外，不同地区和不同发育阶段的猪，S．suis检出率和各血清型检出情况也存在较大差异．从而证实广东地区猪群中广泛存在S．suis呈地域性流行，并且是多种血清型共存．

202 swine tonsilla swabs collected from some areas in Guangdong province were detected for Streptococcus suis and their serotypes（ I ,2,7,9 ）, using the PCR methods. 147 S. suis strains were detected and the detection rate was 72. 8%. Among of them, 21 samples were S. suis serotype 2, 6 samples were serotype 9, serotype 1 and 7 strains were not detected. The detection rate of S. suis and the Serotypes were varied significantly among different areas and growth stages of pigs. The results showed that S. suis were existed widely in pigs, and multiple serotypes of S. suis seemed to be enzootic prevalence in Guangdong.
