介绍了VGA到TV视频转换的系统原理与总体架构,阐述了视频转换的色彩空间转换、UV减采样、去闪烁与缩放、副载波调制及数字电视编码等原理,应用减采样与过采样算法实现视频采样率转换.基于此结构,采用0.5μm CMOS工艺实现了一款VGA到TV数字视频转换芯片,芯片集成度15万门,芯片面积为6.67 μm×6.35 μm,系统时钟为27 MHz.实测结果表明,芯片实现了VGA到NTSC/PAL制电视的转换,适用于多分辨率、多制式视频转换系统.

The system theory and construction of the video conversion for VGA to TV were introduced. The construction of VGA conversion and digital TV encoding are emphatically interpreted such as color space conversion, UV down-sampling, anti-flicker and scaler, subcarrier modulation and digital TV encoding. Based on the structure, a chip of digital video conversion was fabricated in 0.5 μm process. Its area is 6.67 μm × 6.35 μm, the chip can realize VGA to NTSC/PAL TV conversion, and is suitable for multiresolution, multi-standard video conversion system.
