As the demands of the oil-resisting for the cable used on oil platform, ocean engineering and ship is higher and higher, the acetic aicd-vinyl resin has been considered by cable engineers. This paper research the choice of basic material of acetic acid-vinyl resin, the choice of mixed dose and processing technology. The researched material of acetic acid-vinyl resin has fine mechanical performance and processing performance, especially the mud-resistant performance.
