针对莫里森的代表作《宠儿》和《慈悲》之间极大的相似性,以互文性理论为指导,对两部小说的背景、情节、人物、主题和叙事策略的互文关系进行梳理,挖掘这两部小说的内涵,揭示莫里森对历史和现实的思索,了解莫里森的后现代主义写作技巧,为理解莫里森的作品提供新的视角。

Morrison＇s two representative works-Beloved and A Mercy have a lot of similarities.With the theory of intertextuality,this paper carried out a comparative study on the intertextual relationship of background,plot,characters,themes and narrative strategies of the two works so as to explore the profound meanings of the works,reveal Morrison＇s thinking on history and reality,and have a better understanding of the post-modern writing techniques of Morrison.This may provide new insights into Morrison＇s works.
