With the approching of energy crisis,new energy has become one of the main energy types in the world,and countries in the world pay more and more attention to the utilization of new energy. This paper introduces the characteristics and utilization status of new energy in various countries in the world,and fo- cuses on the utilization status of China＇s new energy from the aspects of wind power, photovoltaic, optothermal, biomass energy and nuclear energy, etc.
