以效用函数为理论基础，运用Logit模型对盘锦市养殖户进行影响养殖户购买畜牧业保险决策因素进行实证分析。结果表明，影响养殖户购买畜牧业保险的重要因素包括家庭总收入、畜牧业收入占家庭收入比例、家庭主要经营产业及养殖户对保险重视程度等。得出应加大对畜牧业保险的宣传力度、积极促进畜牧业专业化发展以及采取循序渐进的方式发展畜牧保险业的结论和政策建议，为加速我国畜牧保险业发展提供理论依据。

This paper conducts empirical study on farmers＇ willingness to pay for livestock insurance program in Panjin of Liaoning province by utilization of the utility function theory and Logit model. The results indicate that the factors which affect the farmers＇ willingness to pay for livestock insurance program include ：family income, livestock income share of the total family income, household＇s income sources, as well as farmers＇ knowledge to the importance of livestock insurance. These suggest that government should pay more attention to educate farmers on the utility of livestock insurance program,promote livestock production specialization and proceed in an orderly way and step by step in developing livestock insurance program.
